Another year, another chance to f*ck things up, starting with my determination to cut back on sugar.

Per tradition, I ordered a cake for my birthday. It's a butter coconut cake with creme frosting, and I'm in love with it. I'd marry it. I am THAT smitten. The guys at the Cake Shop call it Big Gay Rainbow Cake. Very apt, right?

Birthday was celebrated with college friends Mark and Vanessa in Quezon City's Katre's restaurant, followed by  opera night in one of  the theaters at the University of the Philippines Diliman.


I'm 29 now.  Where did my 28 years go?!!!
